Türkiye Bursları (Turkey Scholarships) is a government-funded program covering full tuition, monthly stipends, free Turkish language instruction, accommodation, health insurance, and round-trip flights — for bachelor's, master's, and PhD applicants from around the world, including Pakistan.
Applications open in January and close by mid-February each year for the following September intake, making it one of the earliest deadlines in our annual planning calendar. Missing this window means waiting a full year, so we start Türkiye Bursları planning with students as early as October.
Selection is competitive but transparent: it weighs academic transcripts, extracurricular involvement, and a structured online application essay. Unlike many scholarships, there's no separate entrance exam — your existing FSc, A-Level, or bachelor's transcript is the primary academic input.
A common mistake is treating the application essay as an afterthought. Turkish scholarship committees read thousands of near-identical essays about 'wanting to study abroad' — the applicants who stand out write specifically about why Turkey, why that field, and how it connects to a concrete goal back in Pakistan.
If you're not selected for the scholarship but still want to study in Turkey, self-funded admission remains one of the most affordable EU-adjacent options available, and we help you pivot to that pathway without losing your application momentum.
